Job Summary
Public Relations (PR) Specialist will be responsible for growing, shaping, and maintaining Astera’s reputation and brand. The incumbent will be tasked with maintaining media relations and collaborating with marketing teams in promotional activities.
What You’ll Do
- Create innovative and engaging Public Relations and Media campaigns.
- Improve the quality of the company’s voice via different online and offline channels.
- Write press releases, media announcements, speeches, blogs, and other PR copy.
- Build and maintain targeted media lists, and nurture relationships with key reporters, media outlets, analyst firms and industry experts.
- Identify and onboard influencers for product marketing campaigns.
- Identify and develop story angles and news flow and conduct targeted media outreach.
- Proactively pitch stories and secure media coverage across online, and social media channels.
- Conduct Regular Review Campaigns to Enhance Customer Engagement and Feedback.
- Plan and execute PR events, webinars, and product launches in collaboration with our marketing teams.
- Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of PR initiatives, implementing improvements based on feedback and data insights.
What You’ll Need
Must have:
- BSc/BA in PR, communications, journalism, marketing, or similar relevant field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to draft content, with an emphasis on clear, engaging, and informative material tailored to specific audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with media professionals, stakeholders, and the team.
- Creative thinker with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
Nice to have:
- Expertise in media relations & influencer marketing.
- Proficiency in using social media platforms and other relevant tools/channels to identify PR related opportunities.
- Knowledge and understanding of marketing and PR practices within the tech/B2B industry.
