As a Management Trainee Officer in IT, you will be responsible for managing and supporting IT department initiatives. Your duties will include diagnosing and troubleshooting software and hardware problems, resolving network issues, configuring operating systems, and providing immediate support through remote desktop connections and communication applications.
What You’ll Do
- Install and configure client computer systems while assisting with day-to-day IT operations.
- Respond promptly to client IT support requests.
- Research and identify solutions to software and hardware issues.
- Maintain and upgrade existing IT infrastructure.
- Provide technical support on-site or via remote-access systems.
- Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks, including configuring and managing network devices.
- Monitor system usage and network traffic.
- Create and manage virtual machines.
- Maintain user rights on a network shared folder.
- Troubleshoot system and network problems and diagnose and solve hardware or software faults.
- Maintain physical connectivity for LAN and Wireless Connectivity for WAN.
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, Computer System and Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- 0-1 years of pertinent experience.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Effective organization and multitasking skills.
- Ability to simplify technical problems for non-technical audiences.

Good to Have
- Preferred certifications: Microsoft MCSA and Cisco CCNA.
- Familiarity with server operating systems, network devices, and virtual machines.
- Proficiency in DHCP, DNS, and Domain Controller.
- Experience with server OS installations and fundamental backup procedures.
- Knowledge of Hyper-V, backups, antivirus, and O365 management is advantageous.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud, as well as virtualization and hardware firewalls.
