Job Summary

The QA & QC Manager will be responsible for leading the quality assurance and quality control efforts across the organization. This role involves developing and implementing a comprehensive quality strategy that ensures the highest standards of quality in all products, aligns with industry regulations, and enhances customer satisfaction. The manager will oversee a team of QA & QC professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and implement a robust QA & QC strategy aligned with organizational goals.  
  • Introduce and maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS) such as ISO 9001:2015 or Six Sigma to improve consistency and efficiency in quality management.  
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements throughout all phases of product development.  
  • Manage and mentor the QA & QC team, overseeing recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and career development.  
  • Foster a culture of accountability and responsibility for product quality across all teams.  
  • Promote knowledge sharing and continuous learning within the department.  
  • Oversee the execution of test plans, including manual and automated testing, to ensure comprehensive test coverage.  
  • Manage defect tracking and resolution processes, ensuring timely verification of fixes.  
  • Ensure adherence to quality control processes and standards.  
  • Identify, implement, and monitor process improvements to enhance QA & QC efficiency and effectiveness.  
  • Utilize quality management tools and methodologies (e.g., Lean, Agile) to drive continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.  
  • Analyze quality metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement and root causes of quality issues.  
  • Prepare and present quality reports and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.  
  • Collaborate with product development, engineering, and customer support teams to address quality-related issues and ensure alignment across departments.  
  • Engage with customers and regulatory authorities to gather feedback and address quality concerns promptly.  
  • Identify and mitigate quality-related risks throughout the product lifecycle.  
  • Develop risk management strategies that minimize defects and improve overall product quality.

What You’ll Need

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in software testing methodologies and tools, with at least 5 years focused on QA/QC in product development.  
  • Proven leadership experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial role.  
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.  
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with senior management and customers.  
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.  
  • Relevant certifications in Quality Management Systems (QMS) and methodologies (e.g., ISO 9001:2015, Six Sigma).  
  • Valid certifications in quality management (e.g., ASQ, ISTQB, CMSQ) are highly desirable.  
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills.  
  • A proactive approach to quality and continuous improvement.  
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
