Job Summary
The incumbent will be responsible for conducting in-depth competitive research and analysis from a technical standpoint to highlight key areas of improvement and innovation in Astera’s data management platform, whilst documenting and presenting this research in a structured and clear manner.
Job responsibilities will also include producing high-quality instructional content, user manuals, how-to guides, articles, videos, and other supporting documents to explain technical information while working closely with software development, quality assurance, product marketing, and customer success team to ensure accuracy of product descriptions.
What You’ll Do
- Develop an expert-level understanding of data management concepts, such as data extraction, integration, warehousing, etc. and how they’ve been incorporated into Astera’s data management platform
- Utilize this understanding to conduct technical research and comparative analysis with other tools in the market
- Prepare comprehensive research reports/documents
- Write, manage, and update help documents and technical content for Astera’s products
- Determine the needs of end users of technical documentation
- Explore and select appropriate mediums and channels to disseminate the content
- Standardize help content across all digital platforms and media
- Study our in-house software solutions and collaborate with product experts and developers to write technical content
- Make use of innovative methods such as illustrations, animations, charts etc. to increase users’ understanding
- Plan and conduct training sessions (online and offline) for students and professionals
Skill Set Required
- Ability to grasp technical concepts quickly
- Strong analytical skills
- Outstanding command of English language and good oral and written communication skills

- Have a problem-solving approach
- Passionate about learning new technologies
- Knowledge of any programming language such as SQL is preferable but not a requisite
- Minimum requirement is Bachelor’s (any major)
