Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Head of Finance to lead and oversee all financial operations of our US and Pakistan entities. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex financial and taxation requirements across multiple regions, including the US and Pakistan, and demonstrate expertise in financial strategy, compliance, and reporting for US-based entities.
What You’ll Do
- Taxation Management
- Oversee and ensure compliance with all US tax laws, including federal, state, and local regulations.
- Manage and ensure accurate filing of Pakistan tax obligations, including corporate tax, sales tax, and withholding tax.
- Provide strategic insights on tax planning and optimization across both jurisdictions.
- Financial Management
- Develop, manage, and oversee financial strategies for both US and Pakistan operations.
- Prepare and present consolidated financial statements for the US and Pakistan entities, ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards.
- Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting to ensure financial health and sustainability.
- Compliance and Reporting
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including US GAAP and IFRS standards.
- Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and financial reviews.
- Manage financial reporting to stakeholders.
- Strategic Financial Leadership
- Collaborate with executive leadership to shape the company’s financial strategy and long-term goals.
- Identify and implement financial process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Provide insights into the financial implications of business decisions, including expansion or restructuring initiatives.
- Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor the finance team across both US and Pakistan operations.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the finance department.
What You’ll Need:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CFA is preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum 8-10 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, including leadership roles.
- Strong expertise in US tax and Pakistani tax regulations.
- Demonstrated experience in managing financials for US-based entities and handling cross-border financial operations.
- Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and local accounting standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Proficiency in financial management software and tools.
